Windows Phones Officially Launched In India

Its Official, Windows Phones have been finally launched in india by Microsoft today, as we reported a couple of days back about the event which was to be held in New Delhi.

At the Launch event Announcing the launch of Windows Phone in India, Mr. Bhaskar Pramanik, Chairman, Microsoft India said,


“We are incredibly excited about today’s unveiling of Windows Phone. With Windows Phone, we have looked at the consumer experience in an absolutely fresh way, and the end result is an operating system that is stylish, innovative, and one that seamlessly integrates the most sought after user experiences such as search, gaming, email and social networks across Bing, Office, Xbox LIVE, Facebook, Twitter and more.”

Apart from introducing the new Mango features to the media they also showcased some of the upcoming devices from various manufacturers like ACER and HTC and Samsung.Some of the devices were also announced which are scheduled to be released in november.The ACER ALLEGRO and the Samsung Omnia W will be released in the next month while a surprise entry to this launch was the second generation Windows Phone from HTC the RADAR which will be available within a span of 3-4 days.
